ABOUT LAURA
Laura Perrot is a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor/producer at WCAV CBS19 News in Charlottesville, VA.
She is passionate about reporting on stories the community cares about and telling them in an engaging way.
Originally from the Annapolis, MD area, Laura is a graduate of the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, College Park.
During her time at UMD, Laura reported and anchored for Capital News Service, a live television wire service run out of the university. She covered stories around Maryland and Washington, D.C, including Capitol Hill.
Laura's passion for journalism motivates her to tell stories that matter.
